OK, you probably all know this, but in case you don't:
the new dash does mess with iXtreme.
Or better: when trying to boot games with ap2.5 (current examples: Fable 3, CoD Black Ops) the dash will rudely fart in your face, displaying a DRE message in best NO SOUP FOR YOU manner, flags your console and gets you banned by the next time you connect to xbl.
Here's what I've found searching around so far:
C4E Confirms New AP2.5 Checks on New Dashboard with New Games
>> Here's a chatlog from C4E about the new protections "AP2.5 Checks" added to the (beta/leaked) fall 2010 dashboard with new games:

Here's the team Jungle twitter:
There's a chip that, once connected between dvd-drive/ mobo and hard-wired to the synch button, allows you to eject the disc tray without flushing the console's memory
(basically a swap magic, without dvd or a...swap tool or anything magical about it):
here's a brief description of how it works:
By swapping discs it will also allow to boot HDD-installed AP2.5 games on the 12611 dashboard (note x-s: doesn't mean it's LIVE safe tho, but AP2.5 games will boot as shown in the video below) on BENQ and Lite-On drives.
Instructions to bypass AP2.5:
* Install the AP2.5 game on your HDD using the Y-menu of NXE
* On dashboard, insert the AP2.5 game and wait for the game to authenticate (picture of game appears in dashboard)
* Press the the controller synchronization button for 5secs.
* DVD tray opens, remove the disc and swap it with ANY ORIGINAL Xbox 360 game.
* Press the the controller synchronization button for 5secs again, the DVD tray will close.
* Once the tray is fully closed, Press 'A'
I do believe it'S BS or at best a transitory solution only, cuz all M$ needs to do to stop this is perform a second game ID check after the security sector has been read.
Still, it might be helpful while waiting on the LT+ release and additionally it might be something to look into for ppl with hitachi drives (like me) as the poor SooL are still stuck with iXtreme 1.51 and no LT(+) is planned for them...
Looking at the pics it seems a pretty simple tool which we'll be seeing diys wiring diagrams for pretty soon.
Of course I do not recommend buying this chip (it's available as far as I can tell using google translator), I don't know anything about it so don't blame me if you get scammed. I'm just posting stuff as I stumble upon it
