I have created a simple exploit installer program, similar in function to Independece Compilier, except the main difference is that my program runs on the PS2, while Independence Compilier runs on the PC.
Note: In order to run this program you will need either a modchip, swapdisks, or original HDLoader/HDAdvance disks.
-Read PS1 game ID off of a disk and create TITLE.DB file from this.
-Configure network settings(IPCONFIG.DAT)
-Installs uLaunchElf 3.79 as the BOOT.ELF
-Autodetect region(PAL/NTSC, used to determine where to install)
-Should display properly on both PAL/NTSC TV's, but I can't test this.
-Some of the text displayed is a bit messed up(its the graphics libraries fault)
-The installer says success even if it didn't install because there wasn't enough space.
-Return to browser is broken when running from hdloader.
Exploit Installer v1.0.4 - 07-14-2006
-Rewrote reading of psx id function so now it works for all disks(should anyways)
-fixed it so that it runs properly from most media
-some other bugfixes i can't remember at the moment.
Exploit Installer v1.0.3 - 07-12-2006
- Broken beyond all reason.
-added basic ip configuration page(the controls are a bit odd, but it works)
-changed confirmation before install to display summary of what it detected/what you entered.
-return to browser added(code borrowed from ulaunchelf)
-changed finishing screen to be more informative.
Exploit Installer v1.0.2 - 07-10-2006
-Added very basic loading screen, its only there for about 2 seconds.
-Fixed a bug where it didn't tell the user that it couldn't read the PS1 trigger disk ID
-Fixed a bug where if the system configuration folder didn't exist it wasn't created.(thanks dmcbudman)
Exploit Installer v1.0.1 - 07-10-2006
-major code cleanup(so i can make updates easier)
Exploit Installer v1.0.0 - 07-09-2006
