Default MS PRO DOU Prototype

I just got off the phone with a company that makes custom devices. they are working on a project for me. I am attemping to solve the small storage issue with the PSP. Does anyone know the max storage capacity of the 4.01 firmware? I think maybe 127Gb I will post a pic to the prototype device when i get a chance......Changes are coming!

I know there are 16gb and 32 gb ms's but its not enough and its too expensive for most

here is a pic of the prototype. it does work and i am haveing some test models made. I have used an HDD and a flash drive. Hdd had to be powered, but flashdrive did just fine without extrenal power. this one is a bit touchy if i bend the cable just right (or wrong..lol) it will glitch out. I think thats just because of my jerry rigging. when the Fabbed prototype is in ill post pics and maybe even a vid.

It allows you to hook up a usb hdd or a thumb drive for use as a memory stick for hella storage capacity.

@ jkline - got a schematic for the hardware homebrewers?

fly, with your track record on killing ps2's with mod chip installs, you might want to shy away from making your own on this since the solder points will be smaller.

I can almost see the post now of how you crossed a wire and killed your psp.

hey man , this is cool.. am kinda thinking of this also before...

does it work? if the HDD can be detective.. i suggest u use 3.71 and use IRSHELL..

theres a process there u can play ISO in the harddrive. i already tried that . also made a clip of it..

iRshell is not needed. it reads the hdd or flash just like it would the MS. I have played games and run brew from it. as far as i have tested it just like the MS. PSP even formats it. (used raw drives guessing a formatted drive would also work as long as it formatted by psp) no issues other than hdd needs power. I have used a sata 160gb laptop drive Via this mod. it formats at 127gb. runs fast. flash drives run well too. Not leaking the prints yet. Hopefully this is one i can capitalize on. I am hoping this will be a cheap product. around the $25.00 dollar range. If it is gonna cost more than that for people I will release the prints with a .pdf tutorial for all. we'll have to see how this one goes guys. prototypes were fairly cheap. im guessing if i order 100 or so they will be much cheaper. if not than that company can bite it and well do it without em.
