Im not so sure the USB module will control the speed the games run at from the USB device, so thats why i want to know if its any better.....

I've upload some USBD.IRX files for you which I found work.
As far as I know v0.14.0 F was only included with USBLD v0.1
Here I have v0.17.0 from a Burnout 1 demo.
I found v0.20.0 in a later build of YaBasic but it didn't work i've yet to find and test v0.19.0 and v0.18.0.
Action Replay max also IRX files but there renamed with a .COD extension I've yet to find one that works though.

USBHDFSD works too I think but you'll have to compile it yourself

I used the one from Free McBoot, but then again, i also used a PS2 to check this out. You might want to check out the latest version USBHDFSD.IRX by radad, as i read someone state it helped them with a PS3 reading files from a USB HDD they use in a PS2 and could access the files. But they didnt mention the purpose they used it for other than accessing it.

Thumbs up Ps3 usbadvance

i was just wondering if the ps3 usb advance has had its usb.irx updated , if it has then i would also increase the compatiblity rate of the games that can be launnched in the ps2 as well since the elf file is able to run on the ps2 with ule and the fmcb.

Ps if the usb.irx is not updated what would be the best way to update it so that usb advance has more compatiblity with usb drives (ie kingston).
would some sort of patch be possible to update the usb irx replacing the intregated files with those from a external file?

Where did you upload it? hasn't radad made a load of new improvements recently? I don't wanna be using an old build.

i attached it a few posts back and its the latest one im aware of and is also the one i believe thats was updated in uLE recently.

thnx! is this the one dual usb device support and the fat16 fix? or just dual usb device support cos I read on psx-scence the earlier version made some usb devices currupt the filesystem.

its the dual usb device support and the fat16 fix i believe. It was tested and reported as woking with FAT16, so im not 100% sure if any other revisions were made after this one, i got it around the 15th this month at psx-scene in a thread they were working on it from radad1's post.

He didn't upload it to psx-scence as it automatically got built into uLE when he checked into the ps2dev svn.
