AR Max - PS1 Exploit help.

I just brought a AR MAX,

and was trying to make the exploit with the PS1 disc

I put the save onto my USB, (root)
(Would assume it is compatible, considering it was bundled with it,)

then I loaded AR, go to Max Memory > My Devices > USB
and not a things on my usb,
I tried making it several times,
but obviously I'm doing something wrong,.

to make TITLE.DB I used an online one @ ubergeek,

any Ideas?
